Resistance increases instantly by 100% when stretched by, then hardly any more. Takes a long time to recover to its original resistance; at room temperature even up to two minutes. Not usable for precision measurements of fast action. Better for relative movement sensing than for accurate measurements. I used crimp wire terminals (the blue ones) to connect; that goes very well.

Good product - you need the right clasps
I like having the ability to determine how much or how little of this stretchy resistive cord I use, plus it is a much better value than the shorter lengths. You just need to buy some way of attaching the rubber to clasps...
