Ever read a review after you get the shipping confirmation? Yeah, sorry if that happened to you too. The bags aren’t labelled. No big deal: put each bag under the microscope/magnifying glass, find one facing up, read the number, check the on-line datasheet, write the number in one of two colo(u)rs of pen depending on PNP or NPN. Now you’re set for the next time you need to figure out how a transistor works again after a few decades away. That might not be a problem for you.
The product is described as being a good set of transistors for common use, but it isn't. None of them are able to convert a 5v signal in a 12v. I thought that it was the most common use for transistors. Other than that, they are working well and should do their job.
The transistors come in a little bag. Each type of transistor is in its own little mini bag inside. The bags are not marked in any way; you have to read the numbers on each unit. There is also no included documentation (although there is a ZIP you can download with tech specs for each type), and nothing to quickly indicate which transistors to use for which application. However, if you are experienced with their use and just need a bunch to stock up, this should be fine for you. Novices (such as myself) should avoid.
Works perfectly
