Lynxmotion Schwerlast Metallarm-Basis mit Servo

Just replaced 7 AL5D's standard base with these; they are that much better! I have been playing around with one for a couple of years now, and they make the motion of the robot so much smoother. Not only that, but this servo also has a higher torque and metal gears. It has been bulletproof in the classroom. Also gets rid of the annoying plastic squeak of the standard base.

Bought this as a base for an arm I am building. Very sturdy. I would buy again.

when taking the PLTW training the heavy duty base upgrade was recommended by the instructors. I have not had a chance to use it in class yet but it looks like a nice upgrade. At this point my only complaint is that since this is an upgrade for the base, there are no instructions to wire the motherboard that, for that you have to get the instructions for the standard base. It also does not show any pictures how how the whole are will appear when this base is attached, which I would have found really nice to have.

Very good product. I do not regret, that I bought it. This replacement is much more better as standard base and servo is more powerfull. The movement of arm is really much more smoother as with standard base.
