The LIGPOWER V505 KV260 12S VTOL drone brushless motor is designed for VTOL drone propulsion systems, making it suitable for multi-rotor, fixed-wing, and VTOL drones. This motor features a KV value of 260 and is optimized for use with a 12S battery configuration, operating within a voltage range of 42 to 52 volts. The motor is designed to withstand high temperatures, with a Class E grade magnet temperature resistance of 150℃, and incorporates anti-rust treatment along with high-temperature resistant coatings in its stator technology.
The motor configuration includes a 24N28P coil with a pull-back voltage capability, and is equipped with a shaft diameter of 6 mm internally and 4 mm externally. It meets a rotor dynamic balance standard of less than or equal to 5 mg and uses imported 696ZZ bearings for improved performance. The motor has an IP45 protection rating, ensuring a degree of protection against solid objects and water ingress.
With a maximum output power of 2,500 watts for continuous operation up to 180 seconds, the motor weighs 215 grams, or 255 grams including cables. It is recommended to pair it with a FLAME 60A 12S ESC and compatible propellers such as the P165.4 or P175.8 for optimal performance. The motor's internal resistance is measured at 58 mΩ, contributing to its efficient operation.
