The Waveshare WAVE ROVER Flexible Expandable 4WD Mobile Robot Chassis, Full Metal Body, ESP32 Module (EU) is a robust and versatile mobile robot platform designed for advanced robotics applications. It features a full metal body and is equipped with four high-quality N20 geared motors, providing exceptional power and speed for off-road and high-speed driving. The chassis is engineered to handle complex terrains with its shock-absorbing capabilities and flexible rubber tires, ensuring smooth operation across various surfaces.
This mobile robot chassis supports multiple host computers, including Raspberry Pi and Jetson models, allowing for extensive customization and secondary development. Communication between the host computer and the ESP32 module is facilitated through a serial port, enhancing the system's flexibility and functionality. The integrated 3S UPS power supply module supports three 18650 Li batteries, ensuring uninterrupted power supply and simultaneous charging and power output.
The chassis includes a multi-functional robot driver board based on the ESP32, featuring onboard WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities. It supports driving serial bus servos, PWM signal output, and TF card slot expansion, offering a wide range of possibilities for developers. Additionally, the mounting plate allows for the installation of various components such as lidar and pan-tilt cameras, further expanding its application potential.
