The Waveshare Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Module, 3S & 5V 5A Output (EU) is designed to provide continuous power supply by supporting simultaneous charging and power output. It operates with three 18650 Li batteries in series, delivering an output voltage range between 9V and 12.6V. This module is equipped with multiple battery protection circuits, including overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, short circuit, and reverse protection, ensuring enhanced safety and stability. Additionally, it features an equalizing charge function and an onboard 5V regulator capable of providing up to 5A continuous output current, making it suitable for devices such as Raspberry Pi and Jetson Nano.
The module supports I2C bus communication, allowing real-time monitoring of battery voltage, current, and power. It is designed for easy integration into mobile robots or industrial control equipment through various interfaces. Battery warning indicators are included to ensure correct battery connection. The module can seamlessly switch from external power supply to battery output, ensuring uninterrupted system operation.
