The Waveshare RP2040 MCU Board w/ 0.99-inch Round LCD, 6-Axis Sensor & CNC Case is a high-performance microcontroller board designed with a focus on compactness and integration capabilities. It is built around the RP2040 microcontroller chip, which was developed by Raspberry Pi in the United Kingdom. The board features a dual-core Arm Cortex M0+ processor that can operate at a flexible clock speed of up to 133 MHz. It is equipped with 264 KB of SRAM and 2 MB of onboard Flash memory for robust storage options.
The device includes a 0.99-inch 128 x 115 pixels IPS LCD display that offers 65K color output, ensuring clear and vibrant visual representations. The display's round shape with a flat bottom adds to the aesthetic appeal of the board. Additionally, the board comes with a 6-axis sensor that combines a 3-axis accelerometer and a 3-axis gyroscope, providing precise motion and orientation sensing capabilities.
Connectivity is facilitated through a Type-C connector, which offers ease of use and ensures the board remains contemporary. The GPIO pins are accessible via an SH1.0 6PIN connector, allowing for straightforward interfacing with external components. Programming the board is user-friendly, with support for drag-and-drop programming over USB.
