The Waveshare Industrial IoT Mini-Computer Based on CM4 (not Included), PoE, 5G/4G, Metal Case, Cooling Fan (EU) is a sophisticated device designed for industrial applications. It is built around the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4, although the module itself is not included. This mini-computer features a robust metal case and is equipped with a high-speed cooling fan to ensure optimal thermal management.

The device supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) and offers advanced networking capabilities with a Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 connector. It includes an M.2 B Key slot for 5G/4G modules and a SIM card slot, enabling versatile communication options across various networks. The board is equipped with a wide array of connectors, including isolated RS485 and RS232, PCIe Gen 2 x1, I2C, ADC, and GPIO, facilitating extensive peripheral integration.

For multimedia applications, the mini-computer provides dual MIPI DSI display ports and dual MIPI CSI-2 camera ports, along with dual HDMI ports capable of 4K 30fps output. It also features a real-time clock with a battery socket, ensuring accurate timekeeping and the ability to wake the Compute Module 4. The device supports a wide power input range from 7V to 36V, making it adaptable to various power sources.
