The Waveshare Industrial IoT Mini-Computer Add-on, 4G/PoE Features, Based on Raspberry Pi CM3/CM3+ Series (EU) is an advanced industrial-grade IoT mini-computer designed to enhance the capabilities of the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3 and 3+ series. This device integrates a robust communication suite, including global 4G/3G/2G cellular connectivity, Power over Ethernet (PoE), and 2.4GHz WiFi, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial IoT applications.
The mini-computer is equipped with various industrial isolated interfaces such as CAN, RS485, RS232, ADC, and GPIO, providing versatile connectivity options for industrial environments. It supports multiple video and audio outputs, including HDMI, DSI, and CSI ports, allowing for comprehensive multimedia integration. The device also features a USB hub and USB to UART interface, facilitating the connection of additional USB devices.
Encased in an industrial-grade aluminum alloy, the mini-computer ensures durability and effective heat dissipation, aided by an aluminum alloy heatsink. It supports a wide voltage range power supply from 7 to 36V, enhancing its adaptability to different power environments. The device is designed for easy installation with wall mount support, making it convenient for deployment in various industrial settings.
