The Waveshare Industrial 6-Ch Relay Module for Raspberry Pi Zero, RS485/CAN, Isolated Protections (EU) is a sophisticated relay module designed specifically for integration with the Raspberry Pi Zero WH. It facilitates RS485 and CAN half-duplex communication, utilizing SP3485 and MCP2515 + SN65HVD230 solutions, respectively. The module is engineered with onboard unibody power supply isolation, ensuring stable isolated voltage without the need for an additional power supply for the isolated terminal.
This relay module incorporates photocoupler isolation to prevent interference from external high-voltage circuits connected to the relay. It is equipped with TVS diodes to effectively suppress surge and transient spike voltages, providing lightning and electrostatic protection. The inclusion of resettable fuses and protection diodes ensures stable current and voltage output, enhancing shockproof performance.
The module features high-quality relays with a contact rating of up to 10A at 250V AC or 30V DC. It is housed in an ABS protection enclosure with rail-mount support, making it easy to install and safe to use. The operating voltage range is compatible with industrial input voltages from 7V to 36V. This module is tailored for use with Raspberry Pi Zero series devices that have a pre-soldered pinheader, although the Raspberry Pi Zero WH itself is not included.
