The 4-Channel Optocoupler TLP281 IC Breakout Board enables you to connect a digital system, such as a 5V microcontroller, to a high-voltage or noisy system. It uses a TLP281 opto-isolator IC to electrically isolate your controller from the high-voltage system, utilizing the four built-in LEDs and photodiodes.
The TLP281 IC is often used with a microcontroller to control servos or other motors that require a voltage higher than the TTL logic on a 3.3V or 5V development board.
This breakout board allows for up to four channels to be controlled. To use it, simply connect your microcontroller to the four IN pins and supply the board with a maximum of 5VDC to the NC pin. The high-voltage system should then be connected to the HVCC & HGND pins and the OUT pins.
