The SLAMTEC LPX-T1 270° Lidar represents a pioneering advancement in medium and long-range laser LIDAR technology. Developed by SLAMTEC, this high-performance device boasts a scanning range of up to 40 meters and a scanning angle of up to 270 degrees. It is equipped with robust resistance to light, capable of withstanding up to 80,000 lux, and features a high sampling frequency that enables the generation of real-time point cloud maps. This facilitates precise environmental perception and navigation capabilities, making it an ideal tool for robot localization and mapping in various applications, including automated guided vehicles (AGVs), service robots, and lightweight autonomous vehicles used in parking lot scenarios.
The LPX-T1 leverages advanced DTOF laser ranging technology coupled with SLAMTECs high-speed signal processing to deliver real-time, millimeter-level precision in distance and location detection. The consistency of the ranging resolution is maintained across distances, and the technology is adept at detecting objects of various materials and shapes, including those that are black, highly reflective, or transparent. This capability ensures that robots are equipped with accurate environmental perception and localization, which is critical for precise navigation and obstacle avoidance in complex settings.
Designed to operate effectively in diverse environments such as warehouses, factories, distribution centers, hotels, restaurants, shopping malls, and office buildings, the LPX-T1 provides a broad perception range and extended response time. Its clockwise rotation range allows for comprehensive environmental contour acquisition, enabling the device to accurately detect and map environments, regardless of their size or complexity.
Improvements in the internal optical design and algorithm system have resulted in a laser-ranging sampling capability of up to 60,000 times per second, catering to the demands of high-speed movement. The LPX-T1s ability to update environmental data in real-time supports rapid decision-making and adjustments, ensuring stability and accuracy for robots in fast-paced scenarios.
The LPX-T1s angular resolution is finely tuned to detect small objects, a critical feature in AGV applications. It can capture and identify subtle object details with exceptional precision, facilitating efficient detection and identification in various settings.
Advanced anti-interference technology enables the LPX-T1 to operate reliably in the presence of ambient light and direct sunlight, ensuring stable performance and consistent environmental awareness in both indoor and outdoor conditions.
SLAMTECs innovative OPTMAG technology, which combines wireless power with optical communication, addresses the longevity issues associated with traditional LIDAR systems that rely on slip rings. This technology significantly extends the service life by mitigating electrical connection failures due to physical wear.
To enhance user development efficiency, SLAMTEC offers professional LIDAR debugging tools through its development software, RobotStudio. Additionally, SDK development kits are available for various platforms, including x86 Windows, x86 Linux, and arm Linux, to accommodate a range of development applications.
The LPX-T1 uses a modulated pulse type low-power infrared laser as its light source, adhering to the Class 1 laser safety standard, ensuring it is safe for human eyes.
The LPX-T1 is classified as a Class 1 laser product. It is important to handle the device in accordance with safety guidelines to prevent potential hazards.
