The Sherline Manual 18-Inch NexGen Benchtop Mill Package A (Metric) (EU) is designed to enhance machining capabilities with its expansive work area and robust construction. This comprehensive package is tailored for intricate milling tasks, offering precision and reliability for advanced projects.

This model represents the largest vertical milling machine in the Sherline lineup, developed in response to the growing demand for larger part production in industrial, laboratory, and educational settings. The NexGen mill features an extended mill base, a longer crosslide table, and an elongated mill column, providing a significant increase in capacity compared to previous models.

To optimize the extended column travels, the column base has been reinforced for added stability, ensuring the machine maintains its position during intensive operations. While the column arm's lateral swing has been removed to enhance rigidity, the column retains its ability to rotate 90 degrees left and right, with in/out adjustments available, offering seven directions of movement including X, Y, Z, and headstock rotation.

This benchtop mill is ideal for users requiring a compact yet precise milling machine capable of producing small, high-quality parts. Despite its desktop size, the mill is engineered to handle materials such as wood, plastic, aluminum, and steel with accuracy and precision akin to full-sized machines.

The package includes essential accessories such as a step block hold-down set, a Sherline hex T-driver, a center drill set, a fly cutter with a carbide bit, a mill collet set with a drawbolt, an end mill set, an end mill holder, a milling vise, and a comprehensive accessories guide. These components ensure that users have the necessary tools to undertake a wide range of milling tasks efficiently.

Note: When working with brass or wood, it is recommended to use the toggle switch dust cover to prolong the motor and speed control's lifespan.
