Description

  • Shark-3 Servo Gearbox (0.42 Sec/60°, 24 rpm, 1416 Oz-in Torque, 840° Rotation)
  • Offers 1416 oz-in of stall torque
  • Supports up to 840° of rotation
  • Connects to R/C and microcontrollers
  • Ensures precision with 3:1 gear ratio
  • Features titanium geared brushless motor

The Shark-3 Servo Gearbox (0.42 Sec/60°, 24 rpm, 1416 Oz-in Torque, 840° Rotation) is powered by Hitec's advanced HSR-M9382TH brushless, titanium geared servo. This gearbox features a 3:1 external gear ratio, enhancing torque and precision while reducing range. The servo is mounted within the gearbox, isolating the load to a steel hub-shaft supported by ball bearings, thus safeguarding the servo from axial loads. The gearbox is compatible with the goBILDA® system, offering versatile mounting options through M4 threaded holes on a grid pattern. The hub on the gearbox top provides additional fastening options, and the 8mm REX bore can accommodate an 8mm REX shaft or serve as a wire pass-through. The Shark-3 operates like a standard servo but with increased range and torque, maintaining identical control signals. It connects seamlessly to R/C receivers, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or REV controllers and is FTC legal as it remains unmodified. Available in feedback and continuous modes, the gearbox allows for position control or speed and direction control, respectively, with the ability to switch modes using a DPC-11 servo programmer.
