The ServoCity 4 Stage Viper-Slide Kit (Belt-Driven, 240mm Slides) is a compact and versatile linear motion system designed for applications requiring precise and reliable extension capabilities. This kit features a belt-driven mechanism that enhances simplicity and consistency, eliminating the need for tension adjustments typically associated with spring systems. The belt's design ensures stability and ease of control, making it an ideal choice for projects where controlled linear motion is essential. The kit is engineered for compatibility with goBILDA® components, offering a robust mounting system with a grid-pattern of thru-holes and threaded holes for secure attachment. This allows for seamless integration with various components such as ServoBlocks™ and U-Channels. The Viper-Slide Kit provides a maximum travel distance of 696mm, while maintaining a compact retracted length of 288mm, allowing for flexible installation in diverse orientations. It is designed to accommodate a motor of choice, with compatibility for the goBILDA® 5203 Series Yellow Jacket Planetary Gear Motor, facilitated by the Quad Block Pattern Mount and 8mm REX Sonic Hub. The system is driven by a 60 Tooth GT2 Pulley, achieving 120mm of travel per rotation, and reaches full extension with approximately 5.8 rotations of the motor's shaft. For optimal performance, a 13.7:1 (435RPM) gear motor is recommended, capable of extending all four stages in under a second. Note: Due to the high potential speed, it is advised to use the encoder on the 5203 Series motor to manage start and stop limits effectively.
