The Rugged I2C Soil Moisture Sensor is a "sensor mode only" version of an I2C soil moisture sensor coated in epoxy resin and protected by adhesive lined heat shrink.

This open-source sensor can be read via I2C protocol and provides soil moisture, light, and temperature sensing.

Note: Light sensing does not work for rugged sensors as the light sensor is covered by heat shrink.

Sensor liefert gute Ergebnisse Auch das zur Verfügung gestellte Phyton-Skript ist gut durchdacht. War von der einfachen Kalibrierung positiv überrascht, auch wenn es nur eine Zweipunkt-Kalibrierung ist. Ein Kritikpunkt ist für mich die Adressierung welche nicht funktioniert hat bei mir, würde hierfür eine bessere Schritt-für-Schritt-Anleitung wünschen.

Le capteur donne de bons résultats Le script Python fourni est également bien pensé. A été agréablement surpris par le calibrage simple, même s'il ne s'agit que d'un calibrage en deux points. Un point de critique pour moi est l'adressage qui n'a pas fonctionné pour moi, j'aimerais de meilleures instructions étape par étape pour cela.

Sensor gives good results The provided Python script is also well thought out. Was pleasantly surprised by the simple calibration, even if it is only a two-point calibration. A point of criticism for me is the addressing which did not work for me, I would like better step-by-step instructions for this.
