The RS485 Connector Expansion Shield for LattePanda V1 is an industrial-grade module designed to enhance the reliability of data transmission for the LattePanda V1 main-board. This shield provides a robust RS485 interface (OPEN4) with features such as signal isolation, power isolation, lightning surge protection, transient voltage resistance, and bus protection. These attributes ensure dependable data communication and safeguard the main-board from potential electrical hazards.
Additionally, the module includes a 12V power output and an on-board 120Ω terminal matching resistor, which can be controlled via a switch. Its stackable connection design allows for easy installation onto the LattePanda main-board using copper columns, without obstructing the heat dissipation area. This makes the RS485 Connector Expansion Shield suitable for use in industrial environments.
