this sure beats a wire nut or kearny. looks like it is pretty good for sizes down to AWG 12.
But they changed the plastic material to a weaker, more translucent white plastic. They still work OK, but the bodies now flex a bit when really torquing down screws.
Works very well, the fact that they are heavy means a lot of brass there, I have yet to strip one out. I've used in projects for million-dollar installs - great way to feed a single power supply to several modules.
They're well made and I'm sure they will work as advertised; however, for my needs they're too big and too heavy.
Nothing fancy, but genuinely effective. Small drawback is that even with 14 gauge AC lines, it will not secure a single line. Not really an issue as you can easily slip 2 or 3 lines in each hole.
