The PhidgetRFID Read-Write is a device designed to read and write data from RFID tags. It supports three protocols: EM4100, ISO11785 FDX-B, and PhidgetTag. The device can read tags up to 6 cm away and can write custom data to writable tags. It is compatible with various RFID tags, including the EM4100 series, ISO11785 FDX-B, and PhidgetTag.

The device features two digital outputs that can be utilized to activate circuits or turn on an LED when a tag is read. Powered by USB, it comes with a plastic shell enclosure. The device is FCC-compliant and operates in the 125 kHz frequency range. It is controlled by USB and can be used with various operating systems, including Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android.
