The Panda Plant Guardian is a cute gadget that can measure the humidity of your plants soil, so you can always know when to give it more or less water. It features a panda-shaped PCB with gold-plated contact points or probes that can measure the humidity of a plants soil. The kit is easy to assemble and, once finished, you can simply stick it into the soil of your favorite houseplant. The bright RGB LEDs that mimic the pandas eyes will light up every 30 seconds to show the status of the soil, indicating whether it is too wet, too dry, or perfect.
To ensure that the Panda can be tailored to the needs of each individual plant, two thumbwheels have been included to adjust the sensitivity. The right wheel adjusts the distance sensitivity and the left wheel enables you to adjust the moist sensitivity. This way, you can ensure that your plant will always be happy and healthy.
