The Unit CamS3 Wi-Fi Camera (OV2640) is a compact camera unit that incorporates the ESP32S3 module. This device is outfitted with 8M PSRAM and 16M Flash memory, which facilitates efficient image processing and storage capabilities. It boasts a 2MP camera with a wide-angle field of view, capable of capturing high-resolution photos up to 1600x1200. The camera supports WiFi cloud image transmission, enabling remote image monitoring with ease.
The camera unit features a built-in MicroSD card slot for convenient storage of images and data, enhancing the ease of data backup. Additionally, it includes a PDM microphone for sound recording, complementing its video recording capabilities for a comprehensive audiovisual experience. The camera is designed with a programmable status indicator light that flashes blue during data capture and upload, providing visual feedback to the user.
For development and debugging purposes, the CAMS3 Unit is equipped with a HY2.0-4P port that allows for firmware updates or USB serial communication when connected to compatible modules. Furthermore, the onboard headers provide access to the ESP32S3s programming download port, streamlining firmware updates and other related tasks.
