The M5Stack Core2 V1.1 ESP32 IoT Development Kit w/ Capacitive Touch Screen is an advanced iteration in the M5Stack series, designed to enhance functionality over its predecessor. It incorporates a sophisticated power management solution with the AXP2101 and INA3221 chips, alongside an RTC battery, catering to low-power applications and precise timing requirements. At its core, the device is powered by an ESP32-D0WDQ6-V3 controller, featuring dual Xtensa® 32-bit LX6 processors with a main frequency of up to 240MHz, supporting WiFi connectivity, and equipped with 16MB Flash and 8MB PSRAM.
The front of the device boasts a 2.0-inch capacitive touch screen, facilitating a seamless human-computer interaction experience. It includes a built-in vibration motor for tactile feedback and alert functions. The power management is efficiently handled by the AXP2101 chip, which also features a blue power indicator light. Additional features include a TF-card slot, speaker, and an I2S digital audio interface amplifier chip to ensure high-quality sound without signal distortion.
The device is equipped with independent power and reset buttons, and the touch screen includes programmable hot zones for virtual button mapping. An expansion board on the back integrates a 6-axis IMU sensor and microphone, further extending the device's capabilities.
