The Lynxmotion Neoprene Foam Tire NFT-07 - 3" x 0.75" (pair) offers both light weight and great traction. When connected to a gear motor with the special mounting hub, it makes a very great propulsion system.
I used these tires in a recent robot combat competition and they are great. They got absolutely shredded (which I expected) but they continued to run until the end of every round and not a single motor burn out. These things take a ton of abuse and still work!

Grands pneus pour robots de combat
J'ai utilisé ces pneus lors d'une récente compétition de combat de robots et ils sont excellents. Ils ont été complètement déchiquetés (ce à quoi je m'attendais) mais ils ont continué à fonctionner jusqu'à la fin de chaque tour et aucun moteur n'a grillé. Ces choses prennent une tonne d'abus et fonctionnent encore!
