The Grove Zero Car Kit Version 2.0 provides an easy-to-assemble color line following car. This car is constructed using only four modules connected through snap-together magnetic connections: the color line follower, chassis, mainboard, and battery. The kit also includes engaging game maps designed for children aged 6 or older, helping them develop skills and knowledge in mathematics, problem-solving, and programming.
Default programs are preloaded in the modules, so once the tracking car is assembled and ready, these programs will automatically activate. Users can draw a track on a piece of paper with a black marker pen, place the car on the track, and watch it drive along the path immediately. After calibrating the line follower, the car can even follow lines of other colors. The kit contains three paper maps, which, along with the User Guide, help users discover the car's capabilities.
For further exploration, users can visit Codecraft to write programs that implement various possibilities for the car. It is recommended to purchase a Starter Kit, which extends the car's interaction with the external world through additional sensors or modules. This allows for the implementation of a remote control car, a sound-activated car, and a light-sensing car.
