Description

  • Gravity: KnowFlow Basic Kit - a DIY Water Monitoring Basic Kit
  • Monitor water quality effortlessly with pH and EC sensors.
  • Access real-time data via Bluetooth on your smartphone.
  • Customize and expand easily with Arduino-compatible modules.
  • Store data locally on a micro-SD card for detailed analysis.
  • Utilize plug-and-play design for quick setup and use.

The Gravity: KnowFlow Basic Kit - a DIY Water Monitoring Basic Kit is designed for environmentalists seeking to monitor water quality and obtain real-time data. This kit can measure two parameters: pH and electronic conductivities. Built on an Arduino platform, it allows for easy modification and the addition of more sensors and modules. Data is stored on a micro-SD card and can be viewed on a smartphone via Bluetooth communication.

The KnowFlow AWM (Automatic Water Monitor) is the inaugural kit for Open-Source Science developed by the KnowFlow team, originating from the NGO GreenSeed Organization. Initially created for a course, the kits utility led to its broader release to assist individuals in constructing their own water monitors. This device enables users to monitor water quality in real-time, store data on a TF card, and analyze it for various applications such as environmental studies, pollution sourcing, and educational purposes.

The KnowFlow team is dedicated to addressing environmental and agricultural challenges by providing tools that integrate hardware, software, courses, and cloud technology. These resources support scientists, students, citizens, and environmentalists in applying digital technology to environmental and agricultural contexts, thereby fostering the development of Open Science and Open Innovation.

The kit utilizes the DFRobot Gravity Sensor series, known for their ease of use and high compatibility. Users can upload the necessary sketch to the Bluno board without any coding, enabling data storage on the TF card. The KnowFlow kit can be powered by a power bank or a Li-po battery, and advanced functions can be achieved by adding sensors such as ORP and Dissolved Oxygen sensors.

Note: Ensure proper handling and installation of sensors to avoid damage or inaccurate readings.
