FingerTech Silver Spark 16mm Gearmotor 33:1
Engineers for robust performance
Features 16mm all-metal gearhead
Offers 33:1 gear ratio
Operates 3V to 18.5V efficiently
Includes extra-long 3mm shaft
The FingerTech Silver Spark 16mm Gearmotor 33:1 is engineered for robust performance in demanding applications. It features a 16mm diameter with a larger gear pitch, reducing the risk of gear stripping in larger or heavier setups. The gearmotor is equipped with an all-metal spur gearhead coupled to a Mabuchi FK-050 motor, ensuring durability and reliability.
This model offers a gear ratio of 33:1, providing a balance between speed and torque, suitable for various robotic applications. The motor's design includes an extra-long 3mm shaft, allowing for direct wheel mounting, with the option to use a bearing block for additional support. The face mount pattern is consistent with the Gold Spark motors, facilitating easy integration into existing systems.
The gearmotor's weight ranges from 28 to 32 grams, making it lightweight yet powerful. It operates efficiently across a voltage range of 3V to 18.5V, with a no-load RPM of 11530 and a stall current of 1.3A. This makes it an ideal choice for projects requiring precise control and high efficiency.
Note: For strenuous conditions, such as robot combat, it is advisable to check the alignment of the motor vent hole with the gearbox pin and adjust as necessary. Additionally, applying Loctite to the screws securing the gearbox to the motor is recommended to prevent separation during operation.
