The Dragino SPH01-LS LoRaWAN Soil pH Sensor (3000mAh Li-Ion & Solar Panel / EU868) is an advanced device tailored for IoT applications in agriculture, specifically designed to measure soil pH and temperature. This sensor facilitates the analysis of soil acidity or alkalinity by transmitting data to a designated platform. The sensor probe is constructed with a Solid AgCl reference electrode and a pure metal pH sensitive electrode, ensuring high accuracy and stability, and is capable of being buried in soil for extended periods due to its IP68 waterproof rating.
Utilizing LoRa wireless technology, the SPH01-LS offers ultra-long range communication with high interference immunity, while maintaining low power consumption. It supports Bluetooth configuration and wireless over-the-air updates, enhancing user convenience. The device is powered by a solar panel in conjunction with a 3000mAh Li-ion battery, designed to sustain long-term operation for up to five years. Each unit is pre-configured with unique keys for seamless LoRaWAN registration, enabling automatic connection to a local LoRaWAN server upon activation.
The sensor complies with LoRaWAN 1.0.3 Class A standards and features ultra-low power consumption, soil pH monitoring with temperature compensation, soil temperature monitoring, and battery level monitoring. It also supports end-user pH calibration, Bluetooth v5.1, and LoRaWAN remote configuration. The device is housed in an IP66 waterproof enclosure, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions, making it an ideal choice for smart agriculture applications.
