The Dragino PG1302 LoRaWAN Concentrator w/ RPi Converter Board for RPI 3/4 (EU868) is a sophisticated multi-channel transmitter and receiver designed to facilitate the simultaneous reception of multiple LoRa packets across various channels and spreading factors. This device is engineered to establish a robust connection between a central wireless data concentrator and a vast number of wireless endpoints, even over extensive distances. It is particularly suited for constructing smart metering fixed networks and Internet of Things (IoT) applications, supporting up to 5000 nodes per square kilometer in environments with moderate interference.
This concentrator is fully compatible with Raspberry Pi models 3B+ and 4, allowing users to either utilize a pre-built operating system from Dragino for straightforward module setup via a web user interface or install the raw LoRaWAN driver on an existing operating system. The device is based on the Semtech SX1302 solution, offering high sensitivity and reliable performance.
The PG1302 features a mini-PCIe interface and includes a converter board to support Raspberry Pi integration. It operates with both 3.3V and 5V power inputs and is designed to function effectively within a wide temperature range, making it versatile for various applications.
