The Dragino LWL02 LoRaWAN Water Leak Sensor (EU868) is an advanced device designed to detect water leaks and communicate these events through the LoRaWAN network. It operates by sensing water presence between its metal probes and promptly transmitting this information to an IoT server. The sensor is powered by two AAA batteries, offering a substantial battery life ranging from two to ten years, depending on usage. Once the batteries are depleted, they can be easily replaced, ensuring the device's longevity.
This sensor is engineered to send daily data updates and specific alerts for each detected water leak. It also records the frequency and duration of leak events, providing valuable insights for monitoring purposes. Users have the flexibility to disable immediate uplinks for each leak, opting instead for periodic data transmission. Each unit comes pre-configured with unique keys for seamless LoRaWAN registration and connectivity.
The Dragino LWL02 is suitable for various applications, including wireless alarm systems, home and building automation, and industrial monitoring. It supports multiple frequency bands, including EU868, ensuring compatibility with diverse regional requirements. The device also allows for configuration adjustments via AT commands, enhancing its adaptability to specific needs.
