The Dragino LTC2-NA LoRaWAN Temperature Transmitter for PT100 (8500mAh Li/SOCl2 / EU868) is engineered to facilitate temperature monitoring across diverse environments. It is adept at reading PT100 probes, converting the readings into temperature data, and transmitting this information to an IoT server using the LoRaWAN protocol. The device is powered by a robust 8500mAh Li-SOCI2 battery, ensuring long-term operation with a lifespan that varies between 2 to 10 years, contingent on network conditions and operational settings.
This transmitter is equipped with two internal 16-bit ADC interfaces and undergoes calibration with 12 set resistors to guarantee precise measurements over an extensive range. It is compatible with LoRaWAN v1.0.3, and each unit is pre-configured with unique keys for seamless registration and automatic connection to a local LoRaWAN server upon activation.
The device supports a maximum of two temperature monitoring channels and is compatible with 3-wire PT100 probes. It offers flexibility in configuration via LoRa or UART and allows for firmware upgrades through a console. The transmitter can be wall-mounted and is capable of utilizing either pre-loaded PT100 probes or third-party alternatives. Additionally, it features factory calibration for various resistance ranges, ensuring accurate resistance measurement and data upload, along with battery monitoring capabilities.
