The Dragino LoRaWAN UVC Radation Sensor (8500mAh Li/SOCl2 / EU868) is an advanced device designed for monitoring the intensity of ultraviolet lamps within indoor environments. This sensor is integral to Internet of Things solutions, converting UVC intensity into LoRaWAN wireless data, which is then transmitted to an IoT platform via a LoRaWAN gateway. The sensor's primary function is to ensure the efficacy of UVC lamps, which are known to degrade over time, and to prevent their operation during unintended periods.

Utilizing LoRa wireless technology, the sensor is capable of transmitting data over extensive distances at low data rates, offering ultra-long-range communication with high interference immunity while maintaining minimal power consumption. The device supports Bluetooth configuration and wireless over-the-air updates, enhancing user convenience. It is powered by a robust 8500mAh Li-SOCI2 battery, designed to last up to five years, making it suitable for long-term applications.

Each unit is pre-loaded with unique keys for seamless LoRaWAN registration, enabling automatic connection upon activation. The sensor operates on the EU868 frequency band and is compatible with LoRaWAN 1.0.3 Class A. It features ultra-low power consumption and is capable of monitoring both the operational status and efficiency of UVC lamps. Additionally, it provides battery level monitoring and supports remote configuration via Bluetooth v5.1 and LoRaWAN.

Note: UVC radiation is harmful to human health; ensure proper safety measures are in place when using this sensor.
