Powered by long-lasting 8500mAh battery
The Dragino LMS01-LB Leaf Moisture Sensor (8500mAh Li/SOCl2 / EU868) is an advanced IoT device designed for agricultural applications. It is engineered to measure leaf moisture and temperature, providing critical data for analyzing leaf conditions such as watering needs, moisture levels, dew presence, and potential freezing. The sensor employs the Frequency Domain Reflectometry (FDR) method to detect the dielectric constant changes caused by liquid on the leaf surface, converting these readings into precise moisture measurements.
The sensor's probe is crafted in a leaf-like shape, featuring a density of 15 vein lines per centimeter, which enhances its ability to detect small droplets with high accuracy. This design ensures that the sensor closely mimics the characteristics of a real leaf, thereby improving the reliability of its readings. The device is equipped with LoRa wireless technology, enabling it to transmit data over long distances with minimal power consumption, while maintaining high interference immunity.
The LMS01-LB supports Bluetooth configuration and wireless over-the-air updates, facilitating ease of use and adaptability. It is powered by a robust 8500mAh Li-SOCI2 battery, ensuring long-term operation of up to five years. Each unit comes pre-loaded with unique keys for seamless LoRaWAN registration, allowing for automatic connection to a local LoRaWAN server upon activation.
Note: Ensure proper handling and installation to maintain the IP67 waterproof rating of the sensor probe.
