Powered by a 2400 mAh battery with up to 10 years lifespan
The Dragino LHT65S NE117 LoRaWAN Temperature & Humidity Sensor (US915) is a long-range sensor designed for a variety of professional wireless sensor network applications. This includes, but is not limited to, irrigation systems, smart metering, smart cities, and building automation.
The sensor is equipped with an internal temperature and humidity sensor, and also has the capacity to connect to an external temperature sensor via an external sensor connector. This feature allows for the transmission of data over extremely long distances. The sensor utilizes ultra-long range spread spectrum communication, ensuring high interference immunity while keeping current consumption to a minimum.
The external probe of the sensor employs a TI TMP117A NIST traceability temperature sensor, which boasts an accuracy of 0.1 °C in the normal temperature range. The sensor is powered by a built-in 2400 mAh non-chargeable battery, which can last up to 10 years. The sensor is fully compatible with the LoRaWAN v1.0.3 Class A protocol, and can function with a standard LoRaWAN gateway.
The sensor also supports a Datalog feature, which records data when there is no network coverage. This allows users to retrieve sensor values at a later time, ensuring that no sensor readings are missed. The sensor can be remotely configured via LoRaWAN Downlink and has a tri-color LED to indicate status.
The built-in temperature sensor has a resolution of 0.01 °C, an accuracy tolerance of ±0.3 °C, a long-term drift of < 0.02 °C/yr, and an operating range of -40 ~ 80 °C. The built-in humidity sensor has a resolution of 0.04 %RH, an accuracy tolerance of ±3 %RH, a long-term drift of < 0.02 °C/yr, and an operating range of 0 ~ 96 %RH. The external temperature sensor has an accuracy of ±0.1 °C (maximum) from -20 to 50 °C, ±0.2 °C (maximum) from -40 to 100 °C, and ±0.3 °C (maximum) from -55 to 150 °C.
