The Dragino LDS12-LB LoRaWAN LiDAR ToF Distance Sensor (8500mAh Li/SOCl2 / EU868) is an advanced device designed for Internet of Things applications, utilizing Time of Flight technology to measure distances. It is capable of detecting objects as close as 10 centimeters and as far as 12 meters, with varying accuracy depending on the range. The sensor employs laser induction technology to achieve precise distance measurements, making it suitable for a variety of applications including horizontal distance measurement, parking management, object proximity and presence detection, intelligent trash can management, robot obstacle avoidance, automatic control, and sewer monitoring. The sensor transmits the measured data wirelessly to a LoRaWAN IoT server, ensuring efficient data communication over long distances with minimal power consumption. The device supports Bluetooth configuration and wireless over-the-air updates, enhancing its usability and adaptability. It is powered by an 8500mAh Li-SOCI2 battery, designed for long-term use of up to five years. Each unit comes pre-loaded with unique keys for seamless LoRaWAN registration and connectivity. The sensor supports LoRaWAN 1.0.3 Class A, offering ultra-low power consumption and high interference immunity.
