The Dragino LDS02 LoRaWAN Door Sensor (EU868) is an advanced device designed to monitor the open and close status of doors, transmitting this information to an IoT server via the LoRaWAN network. This sensor allows users to track door status, the duration of openings, and the number of times a door has been opened. It is powered by two AAA batteries, which are easily replaceable, ensuring long-term functionality with the capability of sending between 16,000 to 70,000 uplink packets before battery replacement is necessary.
The device is equipped with features that allow it to send periodic data daily and upon each door action. Users have the option to disable immediate uplinks for each event, opting instead for periodic updates. Additionally, the sensor includes an open alarm feature, which can be configured to send alerts if a door remains open beyond a specified duration. Each unit comes with unique keys for seamless LoRaWAN registration and automatic connection upon activation.
The Dragino LDS02 is suitable for various applications, including wireless alarm systems, home and building automation, and industrial monitoring. It operates on the EU868 frequency band, making it compliant with European standards for LoRaWAN devices.
