The Digilent DT9816-S; Simultanious DAQ; 16b; 750KHz; 6AI; 16DIO; 1CN is a sophisticated data acquisition device designed to provide precise and simultaneous measurements across multiple inputs. It features separate analog-to-digital converters for each channel, effectively eliminating phase shifts between signals. This allows for accurate correlation of simultaneous measurements. The device supports a maximum sample rate of 750 kS/s per channel, ensuring high-speed data acquisition. The total throughput is determined by multiplying the number of channels by the per-channel throughput.

The DT9816-S offers extensive software support, including QuickDAQ, which facilitates data logging, visualization, and signal generation. Users can view data in real-time or post-acquisition on customizable displays. The device is compatible with a variety of popular programming languages and applications, such as Visual C++, Visual C#, Visual Basic®.NET, DASYLab®, LabVIEW™, and Linux®. Equipped with six analog inputs, eight digital I/O, and a 32-bit counter timer, the DT9816-S provides ultimate flexibility for various applications. The device can handle a signal range of ±10 V for both analog input and output, and it is capable of generating sine, rectangle, triangle, or DC waveforms.

The DT9816-S is housed in a shielded, rugged enclosure that offers noise immunity and features built-in screw terminals for secure connections. It includes three versions of digital I/O modules: isolated, nonisolated, and high current drive, allowing for event counting, frequency measurement, edge-to-edge measurement, and rate generation. The device is powered via USB, eliminating the need for an external power supply, and it includes easy signal connections through two 20-pin connectors for all I/O signals.
