The DFRobot Gravity: BMM150 Triple Axis Magnetometer Sensor is a high-quality, low-power, and low-noise 3-axis geomagnetic sensor from Bosch, designed specifically for compass applications.

This sensor allows for precise measurements of the magnetic field and compass angle in three perpendicular axes. The measuring range extends to ±1300uT on the X and Y axes and ±2500uT on the Z axis.

Despite its compact size and lightweight design, this sensor is equipped with a 2-bit DIP switch for I2C address setup, offering four available addresses. The BMM150 sensor utilizes Bosch's proprietary FlipCore technology, which ensures its performance and features are finely tuned. This allows the sensor to provide absolute spatial orientation without the need for calibration.

This makes it an ideal choice for a wide range of 3-axis mobile applications, including robot navigation and positioning, electric compass, electronic maps, navigation systems, and augmented reality applications.
