DFRobot Fermion: MEMS Formaldehyde HCHO Gas Detection Sensor (Breakout, 0-3ppm)
Utilizes advanced MEMS technology for compact and efficient design
Specifically designed for qualitative formaldehyde gas detection
Features low power consumption and rapid response recovery
Operates optimally in a wide range of temperatures and humidity levels
The DFRobot Fermion: MEMS Formaldehyde HCHO Gas Detection Sensor (Breakout, 0-3ppm) is a cutting-edge sensor that utilizes micro-electromechanical system (MEMS) technology. This advanced technology endows the sensor with compact dimensions, low power consumption, minimal heat generation, a brief preheating period, and a rapid response recovery. The sensor is specifically designed to measure the concentration of formaldehyde gas qualitatively, making it an ideal choice for use in air purifiers, HVAC systems, smart wearable devices, and portable detectors.
The MEMS series includes 11 different types of gas sensors, which can be combined according to specific needs. However, it should be noted that this sensor is designed for qualitative measurements only. For quantitative measurements, the Gravity: Factory Calibrated Electrochemical Gas Sensor Series is suggested.
The sensor is characterized by its compact size, low power consumption, high sensitivity, rapid response recovery, and the use of advanced MEMS technology. It is primarily used in air purifiers, HVAC systems, smart wearable devices, and portable detectors. The sensor is designed to detect HCHO gas within a range of 0-3 ppm. It operates at a voltage of 3-5 V and an operating current of less than 20 mA. The sensor provides an analog voltage output signal and has a sensitivity of R0(in air)/Rs(in 0.4ppm HCHO) greater than or equal to 1.8. It functions optimally at a temperature of -10-50 ℃ and humidity of 15-90%RH (non-condensing). The sensor has a lifespan of more than three years (in air) and measures 13 x 2.5mm/ 0.51 x 0.51 x 0.1 inch.
Please note that the sensor is designed for qualitative measurements only. For quantitative measurements, the Gravity: Factory Calibrated Electrochemical Gas Sensor Series is recommended.
