The Devantech ETH008-B Ethernet Relay Module is an advanced device designed for remote control via Ethernet using straightforward TCP/IP commands. This module features eight relays and operates with a 12V DC power adaptor, which is supplied separately. It includes an HTTP configuration and test interface accessible through a webpage. The relays can handle currents up to 16 amps at 24V DC or 250V AC, with connections facilitated by screw terminals for normally open, normally closed, and common contacts. The Ethernet connection supports 100mb full duplex communication.
The ETH008-B is an enhanced version of the ETH008, incorporating MQTT with optional TLS encryption for secure communication. The hostname is now configurable, and the module maintains full backward compatibility with its predecessor. Additionally, free Android and iPhone applications are available for remote control of the module.
