The Cube Orange+ Standard Set pairs CubePilot's flagship autopilot module with the ADS-B carrier board, arriving as a wired assembly rather than a bare module. The carrier board breaks every autopilot signal out to labelled connectors, so telemetry radios, satellite navigation units, power monitoring and servo outputs all land where an installer expects them. Built into that same board is a receiver that listens for transponder broadcasts from nearby crewed aircraft and feeds their position and heading straight into the flight stack. Because the traffic picture reaches the autopilot directly, an operator can configure warnings or an automatic avoidance response rather than relying on visual lookout alone. The set suits multirotors, fixed wing aircraft and VTOL platforms flying in shared airspace where situational awareness carries regulatory weight.

Sensing rests on redundancy, with several independent inertial and pressure measurements cross referenced before the autopilot commits to an estimate, and the firmware carrying on through the remaining channels if one drifts. Isolating mounts and regulated sensor temperature keep that estimate trustworthy on airframes that vibrate hard or swing across a wide thermal range. Operators work through a ground control station over a telemetry link, planning missions, tuning parameters and reviewing logs once a flight is done. Deployment is quicker than with a bare module because the assembly ships with its power module and cable set, reducing integration to mounting the board and connecting peripherals. Commercial operators, systems integrators and research groups building on the open source ArduPilot stack are the natural users.

Inside the Standard Set

What the ADS-B carrier board adds on top of the flagship Cube autopilot module.

H7 Class Processing

An STM32H757 microcontroller with 2 MB of flash and 1 MB of RAM runs the complete autopilot loop with headroom left over.

Triple Redundant IMUs

Three accelerometers and three gyroscopes let the firmware cross reference its state estimate and drop a failed sensor in flight.

ADS-B Traffic Awareness

An integrated uAvionix 1090 MHz receiver reports the position, altitude, speed and ID of nearby transponder equipped aircraft.

Temperature Regulated IMUs

Onboard heating resistors hold the inertial sensors near their optimum working temperature across a wide ambient range.

Dual Power Input

Separate main and backup power connectors give the autopilot a second supply path instead of borrowing from the servo rail.

Open Source Firmware

Runs the ArduPilot stack with full Mission Planner support for configuration, tuning and flight log review.
