The Carbide3D Shapeoko BitZero is a probe meant to assist in finding the edges, or datums of your parts. The probe is an active probe, and when contacted to ground, communicates its position to Carbide Motion. The BitZero allows you to quickly find the zero on your machine to the top of your cutting stock, or to find the corner.
In order to use the Probe, you must upgrade to Carbide Motion v4. A minimum clearance of 12mm is required between the material and the cutter
