The Carbide 3D BitRunner V2 Standard enhances the functionality of CNC machines by allowing Carbide Motion to control the power supply to the router. This eliminates the need to manually switch the router on and off after each program or during tool changes, thereby streamlining the workflow and improving efficiency.
This updated version of the BitRunner is equipped with a new lockout pendant, which provides an additional layer of safety by enabling manual disabling of the router during bit changes. This feature is particularly beneficial in preventing accidental startups and ensuring user safety.
The BitRunner V2 Standard is compatible with Shapeoko Pro, Shapeoko 4, and Shapeoko 5 Pro machines when used with a Carbide Compact Router. However, it is not suitable for use with VFD spindles or the Shapeoko HDM model.
Note: Ensure the router is manually disabled during bit changes to prevent accidental operation.
