The spindle kit includes a 65mm air-cooled spindle, which is compatible with Shapeoko models 3, 4, Pro, and 5 Pro, and is particularly recommended for use with the HDZ or Z-Plus systems due to its weight. The spindle's RPM is fully controlled by G-code, providing precision and ease of use.

The kit incorporates a pre-wired and pre-programmed Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) unit, housed in a custom enclosure to ensure safety and minimize electrical noise. This enclosure includes an AC filter and a speed control board, allowing for efficient and reliable operation. The VFD is preprogrammed with locked parameters to prevent accidental configuration changes, ensuring consistent performance. The spindle is air-cooled, eliminating the need for complex water-cooling systems, thus simplifying installation and maintenance.

This spindle kit is designed exclusively for use with Carbide 3D CNC machines and is not compatible with other systems. Note: The VFD controller cannot operate on a GFCI outlet, and the spindle is only compatible with 110V power sources.
