The Bristlebot Kit (4pk) lets you create your own zippy bot in minutes. Bristlebots are a fun way to learn about basic engineering, motor, circuits, and principals of balance. Creating a bot is simple, just attach the parts to the toothbrush head and watch them go.
Change the way they move and behave by adjusting the balance and pipe cleaners. Bristlebots are a great rainy day activity or a fun way to spice up a classroom activity. Bristlebots are not intended to be taken apart and reused, however, some parts can be individually reused.
Each Bristlebot Kit includes all the parts you need to create your own bot. Building a bot takes 5-10 minutes of time and their included battery lasts for up to 2 hours.

J'ai fabriqué des soies avec mon groupe Sparks en utilisant une combinaison de brosses à dents de magasin à un dollar et de pièces d'un magasin d'électronique, mais les brosses à dents avaient un dos incurvé avec de petites arêtes et les fils du moteur doivent être dénudés (difficile à retirer pour les enfants de six ans !). C'était vraiment difficile. Comme cela ne s'est pas très bien passé, j'ai décidé de commander ce kit pour voir s'il serait plus facile pour mon enfant de 6 ans de l'assembler. C'était. Je recommande vivement de vous procurer ce kit au lieu de vous procurer les composants vous-même. Ma seule critique est que le ruban adhésif double face ne colle pas du tout aux yeux googley, donc ceux-ci devaient être attachés avec un adhésif différent. La classification par âge est trop conservatrice dans mon esprit; ceux-ci peuvent être faits par des enfants de 6 ans avec un parent fournissant un peu de direction. Les enfants adorent aussi le produit final.

Really good kit - better than buying your own materials
I made bristlebots with my Sparks group using a combination of dollar store toothbrushes and parts from an electronic shop, but the toothbrushes had curved backs with little ridges, and the motor wires need to be stripped (hard to pull off for six-year-olds!). It was really fussy. Since that didn't go so well, I decided to order this kit to see if it would be easier for my 6-year-old to assemble. It was. I highly recommend getting this kit instead of sourcing the components yourself. My only criticism is that the double-sided tape did not stick at all to the googley eyes, so those needed to be attached with a different adhesive. The age rating is overly conservative in my mind; these can be made by 6-year-olds with a parent providing a bit of direction. The kids love the end product too.
