The BlueRobotics WetLink Penetrator - HC (4 Pack) (M14 - 9.5 mm) is a compression gland cable penetrator designed to seal electrical cables as they pass into a device or enclosure. This next-generation solution offers a low-cost, high-pressure, and highly reliable method for sealing electrical cables, rated to a depth of 95 meters (3,116 feet). Unlike traditional subsea connectors or penetrators, the WetLink Penetrator is significantly more affordable while maintaining validated reliability.
Installation of the WetLink Penetrator is straightforward and can be completed in seconds without the need for adhesives, potting compounds, or rubber molding. The design involves a cable and rubber seal being installed into a bulkhead and then compressed to form a high-pressure seal, which also secures the cable and provides strain relief against pulling forces.
The WetLink Penetrator has undergone extensive testing and validation, including exposure to high pressure, extreme temperatures, high electrical currents, accelerated aging, and mechanical strain. These rigorous tests ensure the products reliability in various applications. While it can be used with a variety of cables, official specifications and validated performance apply only to specific tested cables.
Assembly can be performed with typical hand tools, although the use of the WLP Plug Wrench and WLP Assembly Block is recommended for ease, particularly when assembling multiple units.
