The BlueRobotics 4-inch O-Ring Flange is designed to create a secure, high-pressure watertight interface between a tube and an end cap. This flange is compatible with both flat and dome end caps, and can also be utilized with custom-made end caps.

Constructed from anodized aluminum, the second-generation flanges incorporate dual radial O-rings and a face seal O-ring to ensure reliable high-pressure sealing. Additionally, they are equipped with a locking cord gland and an anti-rotation feature for enhanced stability and security.

The flange comes with a PTFE locking cord and handles, which are used to secure the flange to the tube. It is important to note that these flanges are specifically designed to be compatible with precision machined enclosure tubes.

The flange also features four internal mounting holes, which facilitate the secure attachment of internal contents. This particular feature is utilized in the BlueROV2 for the purpose of holding the electronics tray.
