The Adeept 4WD Omni-Directional Mecanum Wheels Robotic Car Kit for ESP32-S3 is an educational tool designed to facilitate the learning of coding, construction, and programming for teenagers. This kit is developed around the Banana Pi PicoW-S3 (ESP32-S3), utilizing MicroPython as the programming language, which simplifies the process of reading and modifying the code.
The Banana Pi BPi-PicoW-S3 is furnished with a low-power microcontroller ESP32-S3, a development board specifically designed for IoT development and Maker DIY projects. This board, which is the same size as the Raspberry Pi Pico board, supports 2.4G Wi-Fi and BT LE dual-mode wireless communication. Its peripherals are compatible with its low-power hardware design, and it consumes a mere 10uA in deep sleep mode.
The robotic car, equipped with 4WD Omni-directional wheels and a DC Motor, employs the latest mecanum wheels for omnidirectional movement. This allows the robot to move not only forward and backward, but also sideways and diagonally.
The kit is designed for easy assembly and construction, with detailed tutorials and complete Python code provided. It supports various control methods, including IR/Wi-Fi APP Remote Control, Obstacle Avoidance, and Line Tracking.
The package comprises a set of structure parts made of acrylic, a Banana Pi PicoW-S3 (ESP32-S3 Board), a Pico Robot Expansion Board, an I2C LCD1602 Display, an Ultrasonic Module, a 3CH Line Tracking Module, a 16x8 LED Matrix Module, an IR Remote Control, four TT Motors, four Mecanum Wheels(2R + 2L), a Servo Motor, a Battery Holder, a Micro USB Cable, and other necessary accessories.
