The Actuonix PQ12-S Actuator 20mm, 63:1, 12V, Limit Switches is Actuonix's unique line of Miniature Linear Actuators. It enables a new generation of motion-enabled product designs, with capabilities that have never before been combined in a device of this size. These tiny linear actuators are a superior alternative in designing your own push/pull mechanisms.

The –S actuators have limit switches that will turn off power to the motor when the actuator reaches within 1mm of the end of the stroke. Internal diodes allow the actuator to reverse away from the limit switch. The limit switches cannot be moved. While voltage is applied to the motor power pins (2 & 3) the actuator extends. Reverse the polarity and the actuator retracts. This can be accomplished manually with a DPDT switch or relay, or using an H-Bridge circuit.

using it for a hand finger gripper

I found that these actuators fit in small places that need linear motion. Although it was able to give good push and pull force, it did not stay in the position after power was removed and it had some back force. However, i learned a great deal just to see it in action.

J'ai trouvé que ces actionneurs pouvaient être placés dans de petits endroits nécessitant un mouvement linéaire. Bien qu’il ait été capable de donner une bonne force de poussée et de traction, il n’est pas resté dans la position après l’élimination du courant et il a eu une certaine force arrière. Cependant, j'ai beaucoup appris juste pour le voir en action.
