The 3-Axis Digital Acceleration Sensor Module - MMA8452 is a low-power, capacitive MEMS accelerometer with 12 bits of resolution. It features embedded functions with user-programmable options, configurable to two interrupt pins. The embedded interrupt functions allow for overall power savings, thus reducing the need for the host processor to continuously poll data. This sensor has user-selectable full scales of +/-2g, +/-4g, and +/-8g with high-pass filtered data, as well as non-filtered data available in real-time.
