The Waveshare Uninterruptible Power Supply UPS Module (B) for Jetson Nano, 5V Output, up to 5A, Pogo Pins Connector (EU) is designed to provide a seamless power solution for the Jetson Nano. This module ensures uninterrupted power by switching between an external power source and backup batteries, maintaining a stable 5V output with a maximum current of 5A. The integration of pogo pins allows for efficient communication via the I2C bus, enabling real-time monitoring of battery voltage, current, power, and remaining capacity.

This UPS module is equipped with multiple battery protection circuits, including overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, short circuit, and reverse protection, ensuring a safe and stable operation. The equalizing charge feature further enhances safety and stability. The module supports up to four 18650 Li-ion batteries, although these are not included, and features battery warning indicators to facilitate correct battery connection.

The module is compatible with the Jetson Nano Developer Kit (B01) and Jetson Nano 2GB Developer Kit, thanks to its appropriately designed mounting holes. It also includes an onboard 5V regulator to provide a sufficient power source for the Jetson Nano. The UPS module's design allows for simultaneous battery charging and power output, ensuring continuous operation even if the external power supply is interrupted.

Note: Li-ion and Li-po batteries can be unstable and may cause fire or injury if not properly handled. Ensure compatibility and safety by using batteries from reputable manufacturers and replacing them as needed.
